AMASI has
instituted certification in minimally invasive surgery
through its Fellowship course. The ‘Skill Course’
in Minimal Access Surgery represents a milestone in surgical
education in our country in providing post-residency training
to surgeons across India for an incumbent and rapidly
evolving field, on a nationwide basis. The conglomerate of
new technology, new techniques and new outlook has prompted
the introduction of this formalized pattern of learning.
The eligibility criteria to earn the “Fellowship in
Minimal Access Surgery” certificate are:

of the “Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery”

2. MCI recoginzed MS/DNB/MCh Degree
3. Should have undergone AMASI Skill Course
4. Performing Basic Laparoscopic Procedure individually (atleast Two years) after complete MS (general Surgery), DNB (general Surgery
